Flaming Bananas

A little alcohol, sweet seasonings and bananas set aflame make for a great any time treat while camping or in your backyard BBQ.

Flaming Bananas

Ingredients

2 bananas
4 tablespoons butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 ounce rum
1/2 ounce creme debanane

Directions

Cut bananas in half lengthwise.

In a large skillet melt butter, then add brown sugar and cinnamon.

When the sugar melts and the mixture begins to thicken, place the bananas in the pan and cook until soft.

Remove from heat, add rum and creme debanane. Light it up to flame and serve hot.

Yield: 4 servings
