Quick Apple Pan Betty serves two with a quick and simple recipe that is very health-friendly and sweetly seasoned with cinnamon.
Ingredients
1 medium apple, peeled and cubed
3 tablespoons butter
1 cup bread cubes
3 tablespoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Directions
In a skillet over medium heat, saute apple in butter until tender, about two or three minutes.
Add bread cubes. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon; mix well. Saute until bread is warmed. Serve immediately.
Recipe makes 2 servings.
Notable Note
Apples are capable of lasting three to five weeks in the refrigerator, and will still retain vitamin C content.
