Holiday Fudge Truffles

Fat free cream cheese reduced the fat content considerably in these fudge truffles fit for holiday serving in pretty foil candy cups.

Ingredients

1/2-cup cocoa powder
1-cup sifted powdered sugar
1/2 cup reduced-fat softened cream cheese
1/2-teaspoon almond extract

Directions

Combine above ingredients. Mix until smooth in a food processor.

Drop mixture by rounded teaspoons into 2-tablespoons cocoa powder, making 24 truffles; roll into balls and refrigerate until firm, one to two hours.

Tip: Put truffles in foil candy cups for an elegant presentation.
