Spicy Crab Delight

Canned crabmeat and whole wheat pita bread rounds made this spicy pita style sandwich a breeze to prepare.

Canned Crabmeat

Ingredients

One 6-1/2 oz can crabmeat
1/4 cup light mayonnaise
1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
8 miniature whole wheat pita bread rounds

Directions

Drain crabmeat.

Mix with light mayonnaise, grated Parmesan cheese and hot pepper sauce.

Cut whole wheat pita bread rounds crosswise in half.

Fill pockets evenly with crab mixture. Top each with a small fresh dill sprig.

Makes 8 servings, 2 filled pita pockets each.
